  • 10.05.15 Our tree was indeed delivered today, installed, and looks fantastic. Cassandra from Moon Valley Mesa was exceptional. She worked really hard to make the situation right - went above and beyond, actually, and even called to follow-up after the installation. We're extremely grateful that they were so good about fixing the situation, and it does not appear that there was anything deliberate in the mix-up. We aren't made of money, and we spent more money than we normally would have to get something specific to replace a mature tree that went down in the monsoon - so it was really important to us to get what we thought we had paid for, and Cassandra/Moon Valley made it happen. Thank you very, very much. Our dogs are going to be so happy to have a tree to lie under again. 10.01.15 afternoon UPDATE: They did find our tree and it is supposed to be delivered Monday (for some reason, they can't make it out to us before that). Hopefully it will be right - but will update if not. 10.01.15 Well, today should have been delivery and planting day...SHOULD have been. I joked to my husband last night that they better bring us the correct tree we picked out, since it was two weeks ago that we purchased it (today was the first delivery opportunity they had in our area). My husband calmly responded that the salesperson had written our name on the tree we picked out, so naturally we'd know if it was our tree. Mind you, this is after we ended spending a great deal more than we would have liked and took time to pick out a specific tree (at our salesperson's behest) for delivery. Well. Just got a call from my irate husband. Not only did they not deliver the same tree, they brought a tree that was smaller than the one we purchased, and the salesperson had noted incorrectly the size of the tree on the invoice. We don't want to say he did it purposefully...but...what are we to think at this point? Have requested management find our tree, delivery the correct one, and fix the situation. When you spend $500+ on a tree, you certainly would hope you'd get the proper tree delivered. If not, then I guess I'll have to tap one of the attorneys I work with for some help here. Not happy at all with this situation. Will update if they make this right.
