  • I really don't know why I didn't write this review ASAP. First of all, I am a pancake/breakfast fanatic. I will brinner every day of the week if I can. So a few Saturdays ago, I stayed at my friends' place on Mt Washington. "I'm craving pancakes " was the mutual consensus of the loft. Micro Diner was conveniently close. We called in our order and in ten minutes it was ready. The portions are MASSIVE. I got scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. Every thing was so so so so so delicious. But before I explain more about the food, let's back it up a bit. The inside of micro diner is very cute. It is exactly where I'd want to be on a Saturday morning post workout, or really, any time of the day. The woman waiting on me was super prompt and as sweet as pie. She made sure I had extra syrup and condiments and napkins. But, back to the delicious pancakes. These flapjacks were literally the BEST I have ever had. And I am a pancake snob. They were huge, thick, fluffy, and simply perfect. The batter they use is so tasty. All I can say is, I can't believe I lived in Pittsburgh for six years and I just tried this gem now. I'll be back!
