| - I came here looking to get tea bagged, and walked out salty.
Sheffield's has a "Hobbit Hominess" to it, with amazing spices, smells, cooking oils, and unique tea options. A soup recipe I was preparing called for a certain type of tea bags and Urfa Biber Chile peppers, boom... I'm off to Middle Earth's grocery store!
Sheffield's is locally owned, and everything in here is hand selected by the owner's, a husband and wife team. All the items on the shelves have been researched and chosen with a purpose; they don't just sell things because the latest foodie fad says they should, they sell it to provide great products at a reasonable price. They also sell cookbooks, marinades and spice mixes for gumbos and hearty stews.
They had the tea bags I was looking for, and the Urfa Chile peppers, but I also purchased grinder-sized Pink Himalayan Salt, Roasted Caramel Almond tea, Scorpion & Ghost Pepper Balsamic sauce, and Italian Herb olive oil. The ghost pepper sauce is by far my favorite and is like a Sweet & Sour sauce with a kick; it's great on pizza!
A Gandalf approved shoppe.
