  • Excellent customer service! I noticed that our upstairs air conditioning was not working. It was blowing out warm air. We had the same issue last year--usually means a small leak. After waiting around on another guy that didn't show, and wasn't answering his phone, I called Black Mountain Air because someone on our neighborhood Facebook page had suggested them. I'm not sure who I talked to on the phone but he was so nice. He said they wouldn't be able to come out until the next day. Since it was already after 5 at this point I had assumed and was fine with that. Plus, we are on the complete opposite side of the valley. So, it was quite the surprise when a bit later our doorbell rings and there is someone from Black Mountain Air--he was in the area and they decided to get us in same day!! Super nice guy. He determined it was a freon leak. This was the same issue we had last year and that guy assumed it was a leak but just topped us off and left it at that. Black Mountain Air spent a good time trying to find the leak and then gave us some troubleshooting options so we could get to the bottom of the issue--otherwise this will happen again next year. I'm so impressed with how friendly they were, the fact that they showed up within an hour of my call and were concerned about getting to the bottom of the issue rather than just slapping a band-aid on it. Oh, and the fee was reasonable! Will totally recommend them to anyone.
