  • OK, I just don't get it... Yelpers, help me understand why you consistently rate places with 4 or 5 stars that don't even deserve 2 or 3??? I understand everyone has different tastes and there are some people who are fairly forgiving when it comes to food. Others are picky eaters and may not like things that others find delicious. However, I think that most would say dog food tastes yucky and this place is a bit below that. I am a person with a relatively narrow palate. I am not a foodie. I am a burger and fries kind of guy. I appreciate other foods, but have no real desire to eat a fancy plate of something that looks like it should be photographed, not eaten. With all that said, this place flat out sucked. It was in desperate need of Restaurant impossible. I can deal with the fact that it is practically in a auto mechanic garage. I can also deal with the relatively dirty place. Hole-in-the-wall places sometimes can have the best food. But this place doesn't. Their menu is very limited. I ordered a burger. I was a frozen patty that you buy in those large bags, pressed so dense that it would make a good hockey puck. In fact, it tasted like one, with freezer burn and all. It had no seasoning whatsoever and was cooked well-done, even though i ordered it medium rare. All I know is that it isn't that hard to make a decent burger, and this place couldn't do it. The breakfast may be good, but I will never return to find out. Why, oh why, do Yelpers consistently steer me to the wrong place?
