| - When we were preparing to sell our home in North Scottsdale in January, 2014, we turned to Yelp to find a reputable realtor. We came across the Hill Group, who had unanimously glowing reviews (our cynical sides questioned whether they wrote the reviews themselves). We made an initial call to one of the agents (Joshua) and left a voice mail message. Joshua returned the call within 5 minutes (no exaggeration). We set up a time to meet him and hear his "pitch" to become our agent. My husband had already done a lot of his own research into the market, so we had a good idea of the current climate and an appropriate list price.
Joshua arrived at our home with a glossy binder that included a full market analysis, the usual comps, an outline of their services and marketing strategy, etc. The usual stuff, but importantly, there were none of the red flags that we were wary of with realtors (like the slick realtor who promises s/he can sell your house for 100K above the comps). We were so impressed with his presentation that we decided to forego our other planned agent interviews and hire the Hill Group.
Keep in mind that I was 9-months pregnant when we listed our home and not keen on a protracted process, so we put a lot of pressure on Joshua to get us a fast sale. We had tons of showings (probably 30 in total), sold the house in 6 weeks (3x faster than average) and at 98.7% of our asking price. Joshua was responsive to all of our questions/pressures during the process and followed up with the buyers agents whenever we asked. I would highly recommend the Hill Group and am happy to add our own unabashedly glowing review to the growing list!
