For months I was taking my cat in for constipation and they wouldn't listen to me and told me he just had a uti. I ended up taking him in one day as an emergency visit because he seemed to be in pain. The vet picked him up in the waiting room and told me his bladder was hard as a rock and needed to have surgery ASAP or he would die. I agreed to the surgery and left him there to be operated on. They never even took us into an exam room. I get home and get a call saying they started the surgery and realized it wasn't his bladder but an extreme case of constipation. So they started an unnecessary surgery because they did not listen to me in the first place. They tried to charge me for the full surgery of $3000. From my experiences with their doctors I feel they are not trustworthy. They do unnecessary treatments to rack up your bill and don't tell you before they do them or let you know that you have the option of saying yes or no. They leave pet owners just trying to keep their pets healthy at their mercy.
I also just recently got an estimate for dental surgery and they were $600 more expensive than one other estimate I got.
