I need to preface this by acknowledging one bad experience turned me off pretty fast. Before my last experience I liked that it was good sushi-- not amazing, but a place where I'd go if I didn't feel like driving 30 minutes to Tokyo Lobby in Glendale.
Most of the servers are quick and attentive. Last time our server was slow as snails, and I tried to be forgiving because maybe she was new. Nope-- it took 40 minutes for her to get our order to the sushi chef. 40 MINUTES. Which again never happened.
Then when we actually got our sushi, I realized it wasn't just the waitress, it was the chef, too. We ordered a spider roll and for whatever reason it was drenched in some kind of wasabi sauce. Soaked. I couldn't taste anything else but wasabi. I'd wished I ate Fry's sushi instead.
Probably not coming back for a while.
