| - I'm not sure it's possible to write how great this place is. I may be biased, but my experience was above bar, to say the least.
This shop is new, started by an incredibly talented lady named Jasmine. I became her client 4 years ago, when she worked at another shop. After she left, I continued working with her. I knew she'd dreamed of opening her own shop, and she updated me on her progress along the way. I'm so proud of and excited for her!
She's always done a stellar job on my waxing - brows and Brazilian. For any of you who've endured this lovely cosmetic procedure, you know that there is very little gray area in the quality of your experience. Someone is either damn good or "what the hell are you doing to me?!" quality. I've only met a handful of the former, and Jasmine is one of them.
Being that I knew she was so talented with waxing, I decided to finally give lash extensions a try. I'd been afraid for some time, as I have pretty sensitive eyes. My eye lashes are fine and light brown, though, so I was eager to give extensions a try. Needless to say, Jasmine did a fantastic job. We usually have a good chat while she's waxing me. It was so different to lay there quietly, while she worked methodically on my lashes. Her work is so skillful and meticulous that it's impossible to overlook her talent and passion for her craft. She was also so gentle during the application that I dozed off a bit. (It was a like getting a massage for my eyelids!) And, when she was finished, I was overwhelmed by the results. I've never seen my eyes stand out so much! I opted for the "classic" full set this time (I wanted to be conservative for my first time), but will likely give the "volume" lashes a try next time.
After that, I had my brows done. My sad little eye brows had endured some harsh over-tweezing by the wrath of my youthful inexperience. Although they've gained some shape in recent years, they're still rather fine and barren. I typically shade them in but decided I'd given brow extensions a try also. Megan did a phenomenal job. Her work looks much like my brows do after I've shaded them in, only these will last longer. As some of the extensions are glued directly to your skin, I didn't realize that you have to be so careful with them, to the point of not even getting them wet. Considering that, I probably won't get them done in the future, though this has nothing to do with Megan. Just like Jasmine, her talent is evident in my resulting manicured brows.
All that being said, it should be evident why this shop has earned 5 stars from me, and everyone who's rated it so far. Although I love that it was easy to book an appointment just a few days ahead of time, in the future, I look forward to this shop being filled with loyal customers.
