We purchased 'brand new' Speed Queen washer and dryer less than a month ago from 115 W 1ST Ave Mesa, Arizona. Within 3 week's time the washer started making loud noises, and I wasn't able to wash clothes for a week. A qualified technician assessed the problem to be a bad pump. He said he would be back in a week to fix the machine. Now I have to wait TWO WEEKS to wash clothes. This is totally unacceptable, so my husband called Roy, the store manager and told him this was totally unacceptable and requested a new machine that works. Roy responded that we had 48 hours to return merchandise if we didn't want it. Funny how he never mentioned that valuable tidbit at time of the sale! We didn't want to return the machine for a cash refund, we wanted a REPLACEMENT washer that WORKS!!! I gave this store a 1-star rating simply because I could not rate with a zero-star. I am a very irate and discontented customer and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! I should think that when a customer spends well over $1000.00 in a store, the manager would be willing to help to make that customer happy, and bring that customer back for future business. So much for customer service!! I hope this review will help other unsuspecting customers. I am very disappointed with the lack of concern or caring attitude from the store manager
