  • If you are looking to get some great pictures and enjoy an amazing view, then journey to the top of the Stratosphere Casino & Hotel! My guest and I were standing in the middle of the strip, so this was quite the walk for us. However, it was worth it! It took us a bit to figure out where we had to go to redeem our observation deck experience that we had purchased prior. In the meantime, we got to walk around the casino for a bit. We saw a lot of slots that were based off of TV shows or movies, so if you're into that, I bet one could sit there for hours listening to quotes from the TV shows or movies as you are spending your money. We made it to the line to get in the elevator to go to the top of the Stratosphere. We had a VIP access on our pass, but they didn't allow us to use it, which was sad. At least the line was not very long. As you reach a certain point in line, they have you take some nice and goofy pictures before moving to the next line. They turned out okay, but they were expensive so we didn't purchase them. You ride the elevator all the way up to the top and there is a circular area to get different viewpoints of the skyline. There is a bar located up there as well, along with the access to the sky diving ride and a webcam to watch people jump. Too much to handle for us! It was nice sitting up there though, watching all the helicopter tours fly by and all of the traffic. The city that never sleeps!
