Today I went to the new location (right next door to the old one) which is much larger with a lovely outdoor patio. Unfortunately the food was so bad. My breakfast crepe was a Crepelet and was so dry. The eggs and ham were overcooked. The crepe was too thick. If I hadn't had a side of cottage cheese I could not have eaten it. As it was I left half since it was almost burnt inside.
My husband's crepe, the Rosarita, was only palatable because it had sour crème inside the crepe which made it eatable. His eggs and meat were also overcooked. It seems like they cooked the food up ahead of time and left the ingredients in a warmer for a while until someone ordered. The inside food for the crepes was NOT fresh.
The counter service was fine. But with this larger area it seems that the service could be better and have waitresses instead of a counter. The drink counter for the water and coffee were scrunched up on the side. No room to hardly pass by the table. No trays so it was hard to handle the large cups for refills. Maybe it would be better to have paper cups with lids if you are having a drink counter for the hot coffee.
Others that were with our group had the sweet crepes and said they were great.
Anyway, very disappointed since I have not been here for awhile. Now I know not to come again.
