  • This is overdue as I used them several months ago. I brought my cat in same day due to vomiting and I was grateful to get him in. To make a long story short, the vet gave me a proposal of about $670. I about fell off my chair. She told me "he feels like crap!" as though I needed admonishment to do this to take care of my best buddy. She left the room and left me with the written proposal. We "settled" on about $450 which included X-ray, shot and meds. It was like buying a car. Shortly thereafter, I bought some sensitive stomach food and the issue resolved. No matter how you try to frame it, the prices are insane. I felt put on the spot and pressured, with a side of shame.
