| - Most of the negative reviews for the Aliante Library are for noise complaints. As a library, it's supposed to be quiet in there, so yeah, I get that. However, I would have to interject that Aliante is my local library, and it's always been quiet on the times I'm visiting. Maybe people are visiting when it's a kids story-time or something? Anyways, I happen to like Aliante library. It's one of the three branches in the North Las Vegas Library District. Employees are nice and helpful, and if you can't find what you're looking for here, they'll find another branch for you that does.
For those with kiddos, I think Aliante Library does a bang up job at hosting community events. Here's some upcoming events that look interesting:

Guitar clinic at Aliante Library
Instructor Tom Helm will be presenting a free guitar clinic for players and player wannabes alike on Monday, July 20th and Monday, August 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Learn how to tune a guitar, guitar anatomy, how to practice and much more. All ages are welcome.
STEAM = SCIENCE + TECHNOLOGY + ENGINEERING +ART + MATHEMATICS
Wednesday, July 29th
11:00 AM - ages 3 to 7 years

This 60 minute program incorporates not only literacy, but a variety of hands-on S.T.E.A.M activities geared specifically for preschoolers and younger elementary aged students and their parent or care giver. This will be a monthly program. There is no registration, however, since this is a new program, if you think you might attend, please sign up at the children's desk.
Craft Program - Super Hero Masks
Thursday, July 30th
4:30 PM - All ages
Aliante Meeting Room B
Everyone is a super hero in this program! Bring you creativity and design the ultimate super hero mask! All materials will be provided, and all ages are invited to participate, however younger children may require some assistance.
