  • This year marks the 15th Year 40th St has been open. This year marks the 1st time I have been there......That is a sad thing. This place is exactly what I want. 1. Homemade food. I am not talking about just the soup either. 2. Small and friendly 3. Good prices and portions to match I had the meatloaf open faced sandwich served with mashed potato's and corn. It was the best I have had in years. Maybe the best ever. They wrap the ML in bacon while cooking it. It gives a good flavor to the meat and they even slice some of the bacon in with the meal. PS the biscuits look amazing.
