Horrendous! I signed my lease with ParkView Apartments, one of Greystar properties. Alliance brought the property from them a few months ago. Since then Rachel has personally made my life a living hell and the corporate office could careless.
Greystar and even Alliance did and still currently a rental special if you refer a friend you get $300. I moved in my apartment in December 2016 and my friend moved in Feb 2017 and used me as referral. I've never got the credit. Including I've been taking cold showers for almost a year, my ac unit was leaking , holes in my walls , a terrible paint job in the entire apartment and so much issues and nothing has been done about it. I reached out to the office multiple times and got nothing.
Their leasing consultant Rachel submitted a work order for my apartment where Kyle came and fixed my sink but we also had a discussion on the recording line where she stated that she will speak to her manager and there should be no issue crediting my rent the $300 and she will call me back. This conversation was on 10/26. Not once has she called me back like I asked, rejected my request to speak to a manger and completely ignored all my emails I have records of. Due to the incompetence of their employees and me waiting on a response regarding my rent before it was even due, now they are trying to take me to court for past due rent but if their employee would have called me back like she said instead of holding off information and ignoring her tenants I wouldn't have been late.
But on 11/10 I dropped a check off for over $600 and like i stayed she couldn't communicate with me back at all but she did call me to tell me she won't take my check because it's not the full rent and I need to come get it. I called on 11/17 requesting information about my check since I've never received it back and I still haven't received anything from the front office.
Not only do these people lie and try to claim no responsibility for their properties but also tries to extort and steal from their tenants. I have no problem going to court with them because I never avoided paying my rent, I did all the communication with nothing back from their "staff" and if I would have receives some type of communication like I was promised by Rachel this situation wouldn't be an issue.
I wouldn't recommend their properties to NO ONE! Not even Jesus himself. They're a bunch of scammers and they literally try to hustle their residents. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. They're not a trustworthy company.
Update: I was basically belittled by the regional manager Jamie and the their manager Mandi. They both made claims stating that they "tried" contacting which are totally false. Then berated me on a recorded line multiple times stating "I'm a grown woman learn how to pay your rent. What does your shower have to do with you not paying your rent, which it's 42 degrees when I wake up and I'm taking cold showers and getting sick. I went to the hospital multiple times since the beginning of November due to colds and the flu. And Jamie also told me maybe I shouldn't be traveling and I should probably pay my rent. Her comments were completely unnecessary especially about me traveling because my father went into cardiac arrest and had bypass surgery so as of now my shower is still not fix. I have a video of the shower and how it's been running the whole time I've been there. I filed a Grievance with the State of Arizona. Your employees refuse to fix an issue that been an issue since I've moved and aware of it, as well with my grievance. Which I did state that all these conversations were on recorded lines and I have video proof as well statements from witnesses regarding my shower and unprofessional behavior of your staff. Like Jamie and Mandi stated to me it's not their issues, Greystar should have issued my credit and fixed my shower and it's not their responsibility.
