| - I have loved SoulCycle for many years. I am a part of the WeHo tribe & am happy that Toronto has new Canadian locations when I visit my fam.
Toronto is an amazing city, and it is only natural that a great Canadian city should follow suit to great healthy-minded, community-oriented and funky & fun cultural trends. Unlike any other indoor Spin class, SoulCycle has revolutionized the concept of the cycling work-out class, taking it beyond to new levels.
And here is why I didn't give 5/5....
With all new ventures, there will be growing pains. Toronto, being the new kid on the block, means new members and first timers. I think it's important that SC staff know and prepare these newbie SC tribers, (approx 10-15mins) well before the class starts. Having them set up and on their bikes safely & confidently, before the lights dim, music plays and instructor starts.
I was in an area today where there were at least 5 new members, only one staff support, with their red light and chatting...This is poorly managed and very distracting to the other riders. SC is not cheap, it's a lifestyle choice & some even say "elites". I have no problem with the cost & love SC but please pay attention and do whatever necessary to have these newbies feel comfortable immediately, so that we can all start & end the ride as a team.
There is always room for improvement, and I'm excited for SoulCycle Toronto. Good luck.
