I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and it was okay. First, they are under renovations which I was not aware of when booking, but I was there on a weekend so no work was being done at the time I was there so it didn't interfere with my stay too much. Second, there are no bathrooms in the lobby. I had arrived from the airport and there was one person working the front desk. There was a line of people waiting to check in. Two other employees were setting up Christmas decorations and completely ignored those waiting to check in. It was not a great first impression. I had to wait over 15 minutes just to check in.
When I finally got checked in, I was given a room on the 2nd floor. The roomed looked nice. I put my things down and pulled out the office chair and it was so dirty that I actually washed my hands after touching it. There was an unknown substance on the seat that obviously had not been seen by the cleaning staff. I reported it to the front desk and nothing was done about it. I proceeded to the bathroom and to have a shower. The bathtub was on such an angle it was difficult to stand straight. The bed sheets were clean but there was a long black hair on the pillow which I can only hope was left by the cleaning staff. There was a coffee maker but no cream or sugar in my room. For my entire stay, I was never given cream or sugar for the in-room coffee/tea.
Now I'd like to talk about the in-room heating system. I have never been so hot in a hotel room in my entire life. The heating controls did not work. I turned the heat off upon arrival and left it off my entire stay (3 nights) and was so hot I could not sleep. A friend staying in another room slept with her window open as her heating didn't turn off either.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay. The room was mostly clean and the lobby was very nice. I probably won't stay there again. For ~$100/night, I could have had a much more enjoyable stay somewhere else. There are 3 other hotels right next to this one - all with similar prices.
