  • I had to take my car in for some major wear and tear repairs. I have had previous work done on my car at this location and wasn't very happy with the customer service. I felt like the service department really didn't want to listen to what I had to say (about the car I drive every day and know a lot about) they just want to get it in their shop and have their mechanics look at it. Despite what happened in the past, this is the closest dealership to me to have work done on my car, so I thought I would try again. This recent visit wasn't as bad, I felt like the service rep was a little more understanding when I started using correct "mechanic lingo" to get him to listen to my concerns with my car. Another thing that bothered me about this service department, is they wont tell you nor will your paperwork show how much their labor cost an hour, so breaking down my cost for parts and labor was quite difficult because they wrap it all under parts. They also like to keep your vehicle ALL DAY and wont give you an estimated time of how long the job will take, they wouldn't even tell me the documented time it says it should take (I looked it up it should have only taken 4 hours). All they said was they will get it on the lift and call me. After about 5 hours I didn't hear anything back, so I actually had to call and ask for the service rep to let me know what was going on. When he finally called me back, they confirmed what I told them was wrong with it and let me know they replaced the parts. He let me know of a few other minor things that needed to be taken care of, which was nice, but was way too pricey to have taken care of in a shop. After telling him I would take care of the other "problems" myself he told me it would be just a while longer and my car would be done. After 2 more hours he finally called me back and let me know I could come and get my car. When it comes to having service done on your car, major or minor work, you have a lot of options. I feel like next time I rather go to another dealership, because I know I will be getting warranty on the work that is done still, but maybe the customer service will be a little better and they wont keep my car all day long. In the end I got my car back that night and the problem was fixed! I took my time and priced out everything and did my research before taking it into any shop, so I didn't end up leaving angry about my bill, which was nice, it was just a long long day! Its hard when it comes to automotive shops. It's a love hate relationship with everyone!
