| - I would've given 5 starts easily had the restroom been cleaned. I had one bad nurse & I don't feel one nurse without bedside manner is a reflection of a whole hospital.
My rating is for the labor & delivery area:
Pros: Established, everything was done as a system/clockwork. The Nurses are amazing, they have a downtime at night so patients can sleep-announced over speaker for staff & guests, food was great & lots of options on my plate if I didn't like something I wasn't hungry, I didn't share a room in labor or recovery, I had a phone, tv, my nurses response time was wonderful. The recovery nurses were wonderful. I had a nurse for me & for my child. I mentioned I was hungry after laboring for a day and was brought warm food and many snacks for later, the recovery room was spacious & clean. All tests and the pediatrics were respectful and asked if it was a good time. The hearing test was great as well. Everything was wonderful over all minus 1 nurse & 1 I cleaned restroom. I would definitely recommend but would warn about a couple things. My baby & I were cared for extremely well!
Cons: The in bedroom restroom had dried blood on the toilet & sink. There was already a note saying it was cleaned....it was not. I didn't trust anything in the room after that. Naturally, I questioned the linens as well :/ Every time someone came into clean they were respectful & did a good job but going in, was not. Dr. Villa was not my favorite. The nurse I felt belittled me constantly-didn't explain anything without laughing at my question, she came in loud-woke up my infant every time-was rough handling her-turned on every light at 2am-she was absolutely horrible & named Sue/Susan. Being bothered by the cord blood representative was horrible/pushy and woke me after having contractions for a day.
