My husband and I were welcomed home from our Thankgiving trip by a dead car battery at the airport economy lot. My key fob battery was also dead, I came to find out. What are the odds?! I recently purchased my car, so I was extra annoyed at this point (physical key doesn't work either, so it looks like I got played). Anyway, after a jump from roadside assistance, we found the only nearby AutoZone that was open -- with only 30 minutes left. Cutting it close! But we made it.
These guys were so incredibly helpful. It took awhile to remove the old battery and install the new one, so they kindly stayed open an extra 15 minutes to finish the job and not a complaint was uttered. Not even a hint of a sigh or eye roll at the inconvenience even though it was past midnight and I was keeping them from enjoying the rest of their Saturday night. Just smiles and friendly conversation.
We made it home safely with one less thing to worry about. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
