The pictures are disceptive . I booked this hotel online because I thought it would be a nice, posh stay in downtown Toronto, based on reviews and pictures. I was extremely disappointed upon arrival. The location is dicey, and the interior is old and dingy. We found BLOOD spots on our sheets the first night (upgraded to a suite, but not any nicer). There is grime in the bathrooms, water marks on ceiling, an odd odor throughout, and everything seems quite dated (not in an antique way). Even the rug in the front lobby was dirty and there are scuffs all over the walls. If you're planning on paying $300+ on a hotel room, stay somewhere else. The King Edward was a few blocks away, and worlds better.
