  • If you're looking for fresh veggies and fruit with a long 'save' time, this isn't the place. The vendors don't get first pick for the freshest, so you best use them quickly. I usually avoid anything except for potatoes and onions and get the rest at Heinen's. The meat is always fresh and plentiful. Go near the end of the day and the prices get better. Need a quick sandwich? A drink? Plenty to choose from. The Market is a wonderful gem to have in our neighborhood. Put your items in a cooler in your car and grab a beer at one of the local micro breweries. Make it a day!
