| - Michael's Carstar stays busy (there's a reason - honest people that do great work are rare).
1. My car looks great. You can't tell any damage happened to the car, or that any work was done on it.
2. It was hard to get my car in on short notice before a trip, but Michael found a way to make it work - and only agreed to do so after making sure he wouldn't let down his other customers! That's real customer service.
3. I was annoyed about a small issue, and was discussing it with them. In the process, accidentally, it came to light the shop had done work I hadn't asked for - and hadn't been asked to pay for. They did extra work to make my car RIGHT, and were trying to return my car to me without telling me. It's one thing to go out of your way to help a customer and tell them (with the shop owner getting to enjoy a "thanks" and looking forward to referrals and repeat business as a result of "going the extra mile" and telling you about it). It's quite another to do a good thing and to make a point of NOT trying to tell the customer about it - just doing it because it's what it takes to do the job right, and because they care about their work and the people they work for. That's a very rare level of goodness and integrity. That doesn't mean you should expect the shop to do extra work for free (their prices are already VERY reasonable - I know, I price compared). Don't look for or expect freebies; their quotes are competitive and honest, and this was an unusual situation. But do expect good, honest people that take real pride in their work.
I highly recommend this shop. Great work. Honest, good people. It's a busy shop for a very good reason!
