I can't believe I haven't written a review of Eldorado Grill yet?! If I were to pick a restaurant in madison that was my favorite this would likely be it!
I've dined here more times than I can count. Each time has been delicious. Even though this is my favorite restaurant there are still some things I should note (that might be deal breakers for some). 1) there is often a wait, so I would recommend making a reservation if you are limited on time.
2) when it is busy it is often loud, which can make it a little hard to have a conversation.
3) if you're not a fan of tequila, you might be out of luck (liquor wise).
Back on to some positives. The brunch, did you hear me... THE BRUNCH! You must try their brunch. The banana pecan French toast is to die for! It has the perfect amount of crunch, and not overly sweet. There is enough to split, well to be honest, it's perfect to share when you can split another equally delicious option.
The potato pancakes are unique, texture wise, but full of flavor. You can't go wrong with any dish off the menu. The enchiladas are super flavorful and the potato's have the right amount of seasoning.
If you come for dinner you have to order the Texas torpedoes. They are like an upgrade to your traditional jalapeƱo poppers.
