  • New York....New York!!!!!...ok sing it everyone. I'm here with co workers from decades working together. Comped room. I've stayed and played here in this hotel off and on over a decade so this review will be accurate and helpful. First, we are on the quiet side facing an arena which had thousands attending a Kanye West concert last night. (He needs your $ because he said so). The view is pretty cool at night with the lights of the strip and beyond. The most noise is from the LVPD Metro flying about. The noisy area of the hotel would be near the roller coaster but you can request at registration to be located away. I HIGHLY recommend the food restaurants in the New York hotel for lunch or in between gambling, shopping and . The pizza is average but unfortunately doesn't come close to the real New York Pizza I've had on my 20+ visits to the REAL New York City and area on the east coast. Gambling...always friendly staff. Plenty of bars, easy to order drinks. Location Location Location. To be central in the strip, this hotel will meet your above average "needs" and your walking distance to quite a few other hotels and strip action. . Affordable hotel, check Expedia and place yourself on email for deals. ALWAYS obtain a gambling card to be registered and you'll be connected to other participating hotel casinos too. This ALWAYS helps to get a deal$. Draw back...no sports bar. But it's ok...we watched the Warriors game 7, at Paris (yes we flew kidding). Valet or NOT to Valet??...that was the question. It's about $18 a day to valet and $10 not to. Parking in this town has gone up. I ALWAYS recommend valet parking which is SAFER and allows comfort. The guys working that area were all patient and nice. MUSIC...there is a piano bar, VERY fun, drinks and singing participants YOU, ME, THEM...everyone sing along. I always forget the name but at night it's fun. Gallagher's is another good bar. For fine dining, head to other casinos which I'll suggest in my future reviews as I'm visiting for a week. That's right....a week!! It's an older casino/hotel so this the 4star.
