| - I'm not a frequent reviewer on here. But when I do write one, my experience has to be so memorable that I have to share with other people. Such is the case with my experience at Salon Ro5. Just a quick background: I have been a customer of this salon for the last 2 years, saw this place through two different owners. After the new owners came onboard roughly 8 months ago, this place has received a major makeover and is now easily a thousand times better! I will break it down real quick with categories I care about:
Location/Parking:
The salon is very centrally located. Not to mention it has a great hip coffee shop as its neighbor. There're plenty of parking spaces in the garage next door. My parking spot was literally a few yards from the salon itself.
Decor:
The new owners have virtually transformed this place from a mere haircut place into a modern and sleek space. When you enter from the storefront, it feels like you just step into someone's elegant living room - with Architectural Digest-worthy decor, artwork, and furniture. For women (and men) who care, they have plenty of current fashion and lifestyle magazines to choose from while you wait for your turn. The whole space simply spells a trendy modern vibe. It assures you that you're going to be in good hands.
Service:
Lizena greeted me as soon as I stepped in the door. She offered me coffee and was very friendly and professional. I had my hair appointment with Noah Calderon, the new owner. I came in a few minutes before my appointment time and I was in Noah's chair within 5 minutes.
Resuit:
Noah is truly my all-time favorite. You can tell from consultation to the end result that he cares about your hair and how you will feel wearing the new cut. He didn't talk at me about how my hair should look. Rather, he discussed and explained to me without rushing me to settle for a cut. From the way he cut my hair, you also know that he thought through every step. At the end, he produced a great sleek A-line bob for me. I got non-stop compliments about my new bob (no joke) everywhere I go! My new bob really exceeded what I had imagined for myself before I entered the salon.
In sum:
If you want great friendly service, reasonable price, a stylist that cares and knows his craft, go to Noah! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. I myself will definitely keep coming back!
