Samurai Comics is a good shop. You'll find all of the latest titles and they have a decent back issue collection as well. The graphic novel and trade selection is impressive and they support local work too. My visit on Saturday yielded a local book called La Mano del Destino by Jason Gonzalez that I had never heard of before.
I've only been here 2 years and seldom purchase comics anymore so I cannot attest to how Samurai Comics stacks up against other stores (I'd say they're on par with Ash Comics in Tempe) but the place impresses me and is probably one of the better shops I've been to and they rival Graham Crackers from Chicagoland. If you've just moved from the Chicago area and miss Graham Crackers, then I'd suggest a visit to Samurai Comics.
Samurai Comics will be my "go to" place when I get the craving for comics.
