I don't spend too much time in little italy, so I can't comment on whether or not my experience was typical but I was pretty disappointed by this place.
Being a saturday (and such a nice night) I expected to have difficulty finding a table on the patio but we were able to find a table pretty quickly. When we first arrived the place was busy and in my opinion cornerstone was understaffed. I only saw two servers for the entire place (and no bartender) so service was pretty slow. And the service we got wasn't all that great - I started off with a martini and when the server asked if we wanted another round I asked for a beer and was brought another martini (which I drank of course - in the scheme of things if being brought a martini instead of a beer is your only problem you're doing pretty well.)
On friday nights they have a four dollar shot special so we had a round of vodka shots - which were warm and pretty rough. For four dollars i'm not expecting grey goose, but chilled shots are are a necessity!
The one high point of the evening was the food though. I had the chicken fingers which were absolutely fantastic.
Overall I'd probably pass on this bar.
Also, if you're a taller person watch out - I gave myself a nice bump on my head walking down the stairs to the bathroom.
