I have been going to the same girl to get my hair done for nearly 4 years. She recently had to dramatically reduce her hours to stay home with her baby. This left me in a bind as I hate trying to find new people that I trust. Once I find someone I like then I stay loyal to them. Well I was on the search for a new stylist. I decided to first look at local places so that I no longer had to drive across town. I was so happy to see an Aveda salon opened up near me. I trust aveda, their products and their techniques. I made an appointment with Jessica after stalking their social media sites. The salon was much smaller than what I was used to (I recently had been going to Mosaic) but that was good. It wasn't packed or noisy and it had that tranquil Aveda environment. I met with Jessica. She gave me a great consultation. She wanted to know my history, preferences, goals and expectations. She took the time to really listen and understand what I wanted. During my cut she explained everything she was doing and why. This really put me at ease. In the end, I left happy with a great cut and style. I am so excited that I was able to find such a great stylist so close to my house. In my opinion, the prices there are also very reasonable. I paid $25 less for my cut than I had been previously. I will absolutely be returning.
