Fine Poutine & Cholesterol is a fancy little bistro in the heart of "downtown" St. Jerome. If you happen to go at the hip hours, you'll be lucky to find a seat (or parking on the street). It's just that good.
The atmosphere is dark and cozy and the decorations are woodsy and charming. When it comes to the food, I assure you the poutine is well worth getting! Way too many dinners in the Laurentians make their poutine gravy with chicken stock. Down in Montreal, it's usually made with beef stock. But at Fine Poutine & Cholesterol, they make it with Port wine stock. And believe me, it's as amazing as it sounds.
The price of a large poutine, a fried calamari and two drinks plus tip came to a measly 45$! Fine eating for reasonable prices. We hit this place up every time we're in town!
