  • This used to be one of our favorite placed to stay in Pittsburgh by isn't any longer. The rates have gone up and the quality, cleanliness, and service have gone down markedly. Numerous problems with room included: Missing soap Wet carpet Prescription tablet found on bathroom floor Dirty carpet No bath mat No towels hanging on the towel bar, only two folded No tissues A housekeeping manager inspected the room and said the carpet was fine, it just needed to be cleaned. This means they book rooms with dirty carpets. She also told me, "you would have missed seeing that pill on your bathroom floor." No, I would not have missed it and it would be better if you kept your attitude to yourself. My housekeeping skills are not the issue here, the lax standards here are. She left, and returned with a tissues and said our parking fee would be removed. Had to remind her We needed soap. When the bill came the parking fee was not removed. Had to go to the front desk, review everything that happened, and get a new bill. For the amount charged for this room, it should be IMMACULATE. Despite the convenient location of this hotel, I'll be looking to the competition for other lodging options in the future.
