  • Went here as a referral from an orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, who was recommending fusion of five of my vertebrae. I've been living with my lower back injury for most of my life, so i'm pretty much used to the pain. I've heard many horror stories regarding fusion, so that wasn't a feasible option for me. Dr. Brandon Harris, one of the surgeons from SNPC, suggested that he may be able to treat the pain with a series of epidural injections. I've had these many years ago, and was pain-free for a long time. Came in on my scheduled injection date. The procedure was fast and painless. The anesthesiologist put me out, I woke up in what seemed a few minutes later, and it was done! I underwent the procedure 3 times in 6 months. This was over a year ago, but I'm about 90% pain-free most of the time and back in the gym regularly. I wouldn't hesitate to go through the procedure again. Acceptable alternative to getting sliced open!
