  • Drais's Beachclub is one of the ultimate day parties in Las Vegas. Located on the rooftop of the Cromwell Hotel, Drai's boasts beautiful views of the strip from the pool areas. I've been here for Mayweather and Pacquiao weekend and now Memorial Day Weekend. Both times it got very crowded, but unlike some of the other pool parties there is considerable space. Cabanas/VIP Area Line the outside edge of the beachclub, allowing for the best views of the strip. I will say that the 2nd floor Cabanas would be most ideal because they at least provide shade. The first floor VIP has no shade at all. Music was hip hop/Top40s/EDM. Drinks are pricey of course. We enjoyed the $45 souvenir cup with a good amount of alcohol in it. They have margarita and tropical frozen drinks that they add a liberal amount of tequila and vodka to respectively. Enjoy that for a bit and I think you'll find yourself in a good place. Lockers are automated and cost $20 and can hold about a small duffel bags worth of items. We brought our own towels but towels are available for rent for $5. Honestly, most people show up with nothing more than their money and a bathing suit and do just fine without anything. No shirts allowed in the water, but those individuals are welcome to sit along the perimeter (I watched staff police this). Overall a fun experience, but make sure you bring a hat, plenty of sunscreen and drink lots of water! That Vegas heat takes no prisoners!
