My A/C went out on Friday of the hottest weekend so far this year. I called my home warranty company and they referred me to Ice Cube Air. Unfortunately for me Ice Cube wasn't able to come out until Monday. So I waited all weekend with no A/C and Vega temperatures at 104 degrees. It was over 90 in my house. They told me via phone that a technician would be at my house between 10am and 2pm. It was 1:57pm when they arrived, so this makes the 4th day with no A/C. The technician spent about 15 minutes taking readings and measuring levels. After all that he looks at me and says, "I can't really see anything wrong." So, he ended up replacing some capacitor which is supposed to help the compressor turn on. The unit is turned on and it worked. It worked just long enough for me to write him a check and him to drive away. Then the unit went out again. So, another night of no A/C. I called the home warranty again and this time they are sending a different company. Bottom line, do not trust the technicians at Ice Cube Air. They do just the minimum, do not wait to ensure the problem is fixed, and I got no kind of follow-up call. Just bad business.
