| - I booked Sweettouch on Groupon because of their great reviews. I requested to book an appointment on their website and didn't get a reply for 48 hours. I decided to call as I am moving out of my apartment and had a deadline. I spoke to a gentleman and he worked with me on finding a date, but made it very clear that they don't appreciate Groupons. He asked for my address - extra fee for being on the 3rd floor. He asked for my postal code - extra charge for living in Tempe. I also asked about upgrading for a pet solution and was quoted up to $40 per room depending on the pet's size/damage. I started to explain my situation in order to get a better estimate, but was interrupted just to say that they would look at it when they get there ad decide then. Whew! That's a lot of unexpected fees, but with all their great reviews, it must be worth the price (and lack of customer service).
The night before my appointment I was called into work and thus could not be home at that time. I called bright and early in the morning, let them know I had an appointment at 12pm, and asked if they could push it back just a couple hours. The man on the phone was less than helpful and said that it was not likely. While I understand that this was a very last minute change on my part, a little concern would have gone a long way. I asked if he could just check if that was possible and contact me after. If it wasn't possible I'd arrange an alternate way for them to access my place. I didn't receive a call back until 10:30am saying that they would have to reschedule my appointment since they had not heard from me and I missed my appointment time at 9am. Clearly, this was my mistake as I had the wrong appointment time. However, when I called the first time, I did say my appointment was at noon and the man just said "uh-huh". I took that as a confirmation. It is now clear that there was just no regard for my patronage. The way it continued to be handled from there was absolutely horrible. To make a long story a little shorter, the man on the phone was rude, condescending, and unamiable. I would not wish this experience upon anyone, and would never consider them again.
