I have been to The Wine Butler twice during the process of making my batch of Chilean Malbec earlier this year.
(That was at their old location on Avenue Rd though.)
Their system is super easy.
You basically need two appointments for the entire wine making process and you can book those online.
The first appointment just serves the purpose of starting the wine by throwing in the yeast.
(Because of government laws, you have to do that yourself.)
This takes just 5 minutes.
Around 6-8 weeks after, you will get a phone call that your wine is ready and you can schedule your second appointment.
During this one you will bottle your batch.
They let you choose the color of the seals.
It took me around 20 min to finish all 28 bottles.
(One of the staff members fills the bottles with your wine, while your cork, seal and label them.)
I am not a wine connoisseurs by any means, but I think the wine was quite nice.
I know I enjoyed it and I will be back for another batch.
They also sell all kinds of wine drinking accessories in the store.
So if you are looking for some fancy wine glasses, it might be worth it to stop by.
