This place is unprofessional/ negligent in a way that borders on dangerous. I took my new kitten here for her first check up, knowing she had some kind of respiratory infection from the pound I rescued her from. She's the first pet I've had on my own... the last pet I'd had was the family dog, which my mom basically took care of when it came to the vet, so in my hurry to get her checked out I forgot a stool sample. When we got her to the vet he really didn't look at her much, I threw out my concerns regarding a respiratory infection and we had some medication given to us and her follow up shots. After we left I noticed I was charged for a stool sample testing and disposal, so I assumed they were able to get one from her in the back (maybe foolish on my part, but no one ASKED me for one or mentioned it at all). A week passed and she wasn't acting quite right. I also noticed her ears were quite dirty which, as I read up on, is something I should have had checked out initially. At that point I called my mother for the number to the vet she went to. They inspected and cleaned her ears and clipped her nails. THEY reminded me to bring a stool sample when I scheduled the appointment. They found out she had worms and needed medication immediately. If you're looking for a great price on a vet, Banfield may be for you. But of you really care about the well being of your furbabies, I highly recommend doing your research on local vets before resorting to this place.
