| - I tip very well when I DO go to a hair salon, but this time I shouldnt have even tipped the amount I did because the experience was awful. I walked out of the salon with a headache. First, my hair was washed and conditioned by some guy who was very friendly. Then Magdalena worked on my haircut, which took less than 5 minutes. At other salons, they put more time and effort into cutting and styling but whatever. She grabbed the scissors before she even asked me to show her how much I want cut. As she was blow drying my hair, her nails almost cut into my scalp. She seemed very rushed. The first thing I was told was how brittle, dry and damaged my hair was (which I knew), how I needed to come in again as soon as possible, what products I use (and I use expensive good hair products, my hair is just stubborn from previous hair dying), then she asks if I go to the hair salon at all, which I reply I did go to hair salons frequently in the past, but not anymore. Then she comments oh you don't have money? I told her I was helping out a family member financially. But that was just a rude question to ask in the first place. Im not required to go to a hair salon. All I hear anyway is how dry your hair is and how damaged blah blah, same story every time. Then you get told you must come visit again! I only came this time around because there was a wedding I needed to attend the next day. Otherwise I would have washed, deep conditioned and styled my own hair. By style, I thought Magdalena would ask if I wanted my hair straight, wavy or curly. She immediately started straightening my hair making it look wavy at the ends. I would have liked curls but she didnt offer that so I did not want to bother. I was glad to leave that place. Magdalena might know what she is doing, but she is doing it wrong. No compassion. Short, rude comments. Poor customer service. That doesn't attract customers.
