| - First off, let me start out by saying the service was GREAT. A lot of the posts on here complained about the service, but we received great service. Our waitress was quick and friendly, and when she noticed that I had movie tickets to Rave in my hand, she let us know that movie tickets give you a FREE drink at Lolita's. We didn't know that going into it, so free drinks are always a welcome surprise. Another server/busboy brought us chips and salsa & bean dip right when we sat down and a couple of waters. The menu looked interesting, a little more creative than most traditional mexican places. We had a short rib quesadilla and a mahi mahi burrito. Both were pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but it satisfied my craving for some mexican food. Another server, maybe a manger of some sort checked on us twice during the meal, as did our waitress and made sure we were well taken care of. As I said before, I was VERY impressed by the service. We went on a friday around 5pm, so early dinner, and it wasn't too crowded. I could see how later in the evening this place could turn into just another crowded, overpriced, Town Square restaurant. But in the early evening, it was great. I will return, and probably around the same time of day. Also, the decor and waitresses outfits are what they are... trendy/sexy... whatever... who even cares? As long as the food and service are good that's all that matters.
