| - Cheapest extended stay I could find in Phoenix.
The rooms were not cleaned well at all. My first room had dirty cups in the bathroom and something sticky all over the door knob, door, and key card. Gross. My second room was larger, but the carpet was dirty and there was something like BBQ sauce or something on the cabinets, floor, and ceiling. TERRIBLE housekeeping, but at least they leave you alone.
Some of the staff up front are incredibly rude. I realize their clientele isn't the classiest in the world, but when I pay someone over $1000 for a month I don't expect for staff to talk to me like I'm trash. The manager was so nasty at times, and was snarky when I tried to complain to management. The way they treated me, I always felt like I was doing something wrong. Kind of like a halfway house mentality or something.
Speaking of management, there is NONE. No corporate info to complain to or contact. The front staff is it. NO number to call corporate or the owner...NO WAY. You can't even find it anywhere online. SO WEIRD!
Soon after I arrived there was a fire in a room. CHAOS!!!! We were forced to move all our belongings within a couple of hours around 3-4:00 am with no cart. It took hours of heavy moving PLUS the staff being rude and not helpful. I suppose if I was a masochist I would have enjoyed it. But I'm not, so I didn't appreciate being treated so bad while paying for it.
The rooms and halls stank. The cart was "stolen" after the fire so it took hours and hours and lots of work to move out. The charged me $21+ on my card after I left. I don't know why...maybe some things left in the fridge(?). I don't care...$21 is worth being rid of them. The cart was probably in one of the rooms being remodeled after the fire, but staff was too unmotivated and lazy to check.
Some of the renters and a couple of the staff were friendly, but I'd pay more to stay elsewhere next time.
I don't think I've ever been treated so badly as a customer. It was shocking.
