  • What's the best activity to do on Valentine's Day??? Check out a brewery, of course!! Legion Brewing has been on our Bucket List for a while and we finally decided to check it out this past Saturday. I love the vibe when you walk in. The bar is really nice with cool designs in the wood. The tables have hooks so you can hang your coats or what not, which is a cool feature. They had decent size tvs and had basketball playing. We decided to get a flight. Flights are 4 oz pours of 4 beers. I don't remember the names but we chose the pilsner, wheat beer, IPA, and Russian Imperial. All in all, I really enjoyed all the beers. The wheat reminded me of a Hefeweizen in Germany. I thought the IPA had a great hoppy balance to it. Even the pilsner, which is usually pretty basic, had a lot of flavor to it. I am not a Stout girl but my husband loved the Russian Imperial Stout. I think my favorite part about this brewery was the overlook onto to the brewing area. They built a platform (with stairs down to the brewing equipment) overlooking the brew space so that visitors can watch the masters brew while enjoying a bevie. Cool idea that I haven't seen done before! Awesome work guys!
