  • Cowabunga is definitely a mild water park for the most part. 80% of the slides were so slow and even had grooves on them to slow you down! The racing slide was so slow that most people cannot make it over one of the humps and have to be helped off the ride by a lifeguard whose job is to do just that. Seems to me that they should fix the ride instead of paying someone to help people off! Add more water pressure and take away the slow-down grooves. The wave pool and lazy river were great! Lots of tubes available. The big blue slide was exhilarating! That was the best one in the park. Hang on tight, because your tube (and you) will get some serious air time! The slide which the bottom drops out of scratched up my companion's back horribly where the slide pieces were connected. Smooth it out.
