  • If I could give this place a ZERO I would. I have never encountered such poor customer service. I went in to sell some clothes and I dealt with the not so friendly TIFFANY who should really reevaluate her position in customer service. Not only was she rude and offered her fair share of snarky comments and eye rolls, she acted like she was being put out by having to go through my clothes. I am sorry you signed up for a job at a used clothing store but put a smile on and suck it up. Or... find a new job. When someone asks how much you are going to pay for an item you should probably just tell them the amount rather than yell at them for going through the items or smartly asking if "I knew how they priced items." Yes I get it, your a used clothing store and are not going to buy everything. However, if I ask how much a item is going to purchased for it is not the end of the world.. the huffing and puffing is not necessary. I have the right as the owner of the clothes to choose what I am going to sell and what I am not. Im sorry but $2.80 for Juicy Couture is not fair. I'd rather use it as a rag than get a measly $2.80 or give them the business. Their explanation was that it was out of season and out of style. Cool then don't buy it. But don't act as if it is the end of the world if the customer does not want to sell it. Don't pull the bin away from them as they look through their items. Yea, last time I checked they were still mine. I would never buy clothes from here either, the store stinks and I had to wait outside while they went through my clothes. I could not stand the smell let alone want to wear the clothes-- the culprit of the stench. Plus the clothes are so packed in the racks, you'll never find anything. Equate it to a hoarder's wonderland-- jammed racks and filth. Don't waste your time, energy or sanity shopping at this horrible excuse of a store. It's not worth the insults, the gas or the effort it takes not to get offended by their rudeness. Have a yard sale, you'll make more money and deal with people that are actually grateful and friendly. I specifically got a yelp account to review Plato's Closet and warn others to not go here.
