| - The Phoenix, My first impressions of this place from reading other reviews and seeing them from the outside was that this place would be amazing.
At the door they have to buzz you in. The security guard that was on duty looked like a former Seal Team 6 member! But he was very friendly and I joked a bit with him as this was my first time in a dispensary so I was a bit nervous.
He guided me to the counter where I got checked in. Quick process and friendly lady at the check in.
I waited in a small line and when I was called I went to the counter and explained that I was a dispensary newbie and she explained everything to me.
I had many questions about the products, the different methods of consuming, and she answered each and every one with a smile.
Phoenix, you guys were awesome!
Prices are pretty much aligned with everyone else in town.
Some things that may or may not bother you...
Music was playing in here while I was trying to listen to the girl's responses to my questions. I don't mind music at all but when you are trying to communicate, it is difficult to hear.
There was a guy (manager?) behind the check in counter who had a look like a gangster. Now I am not intimidated by most guys because when I was younger, I had many friends that were covered in ink and had an attitude.
However, they were not in a retail environment and if they were, they would try to put people at ease when speaking to them.
Just a suggestion, but if you are a person that is normally kind of scary to the normal average citizen, smile once in awhile to let people know you are not there to make them uncomfortable.
I mean even the security guy, (who WAS very intimidating at first glance) demonstrated how friendly he actually was once I was in the store.
So turn down the music and smile are my only two suggestions. Other than that, they have a great first time patient special! I left the store with lots of freebies!
Also watch for their special events like movie nights!
