The shopping experience was great. Spent several hours in the store to furnish a condo we are purchasing as second home. Unfortunately the positive experience went down the drain when it came time to deliver our $10k purchase. Delivery spread was 8-3 and confirmed on the website that delivery was scheduled. Beginning at 9:30 I attempted to phone customer service department with hold times in excess of 20 minutes. Continued to make calls but with hold times so long eventually hung up. 15 minutes before the delivery spread ended I tried again and waited 22 minutes before call was answered by a giggling girl, Octavia. . I calmly explained the situation and she began to read through items on my order. I reminded her that I was calling about delivery and not inquiring on purchase. I asked whether my items were on truck for delivery. She said some, but not all were on the truck. I asked why I was not called and advised. She did not know. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She placed me on hold for several minutes then dropped the call. She phoned back and said she hung up by accident and that her supervisor was assisting another customer. I offered to wait. 7 minutes later Anthony got in the phone and basically repeated what Octavia had already spewed. I told him this was unacceptable and asked when the delivery would take place. I was informed that most of my order was in transit from LA. I asked again why I was not notified with Anthony's response the same as Octavia's "I don't know". With the call going nowhere I said goodbye and hung up. After the 7 hour inconvenience of sitting in a completely empty condo, I made my way across town to the Summerlin store. Waited an hour. During the wait, 4 employees offered up that there had been a system upgrade a little over a week ago resulting in delivery delays, inventory misquotes and store pick up concerns. An hour later a rather rude and uncaring manager? Informed me that they would make an emergency delivery on Monday. In reviewing social media, I'm seeing a number of reference to unhappy customers dating well beyond a week. NEVER again will I step foot in Living Spaces. Customer service is highly lacking and ethics are extremely questionable. Do not waste your time or money. Shop elsewhere.
