  • I hope if you have an urgent health concern you just go somewhere and aren't hopping on Yelp - but if you are, or if you find this review and later on decide to go here, then my work is done. I've been here twice, and my visits were overall good. When I had my first visit, the nurse practitioner I saw was terrible and incredibly rude but my overall care was pretty good. Most recently, I had stellar care all around (would have given it 5 stars if I hadn't had that previous visit). There are so many services under one roof - one stop "shopping". There is a dental clinic, WIC office, etc. I've only used the lab and urgent care, so no comment on the other services (there is also a store/snack shop - no thanks). I went on a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that there weren't a lot of people waiting. Once I was triaged (within 10 minutes), I was sent over to the lab (across the room). In total I was at the Broadway Health Center for less than two hours. A lot of people in Cleveland rip on Metro - and honestly, I think some of the bad stuff they say is completely true. However, the Urgent Care is definitely great (I keep feeling weird saying nice things about an urgent care - I definitely wasn't there for fun). The woman who triaged me was very to the point, but not rude (she seemed annoyed but not at anyone in particular). The nurse was so sweet and put me at ease. The two doctors I dealt with were both so kind and again, put me at ease - not sure if two docs is the norm, but the first wanted to check with the one in charge that day to make sure. I was nervous and not feeling great, and they could tell. The first doctor kept telling me to not be nervous. I genuinely felt that they cared about how I was, and wanted to give me the best treatment possible. The urgent care is part of Metro - and because of that, it's a great option if you do not have insurance or if you're under insured. My husband was with me on this visit, and basically said the last few times he's gone to ER (one for rolling his ankle pretty bad) he wishes he had come here - cheaper and quicker. Our co-pay for this visit was $15. That's less than I pay to see a specialist, btw, and what I pay to see a primary care doctor (and much much less than an ER visit!). I really hope I never need to go here again, but would definitely go if I needed to. And unless I have a limb missing or a bullet wound, I'm likely to go here before an ER for sure!
