The lady who came to the counter was very polite and very quick at counting out the items I brought in and writing up a ticket. I started off small with this business being new to me, and just brought in a suit and a button-up shirt. She said the clothes would be ready the next day, and she was spot on. Unfortunately, my button up shirts had all been ironed so hard that the buttons were pressed into the other side of the shirt, and slightly discolored, almost like the buttons were burnt into the bottom side of the shirt. I now I have permanent button marks on the shirt. And while I can't prove it happened there, the suit jacket that I had also brought in had a nice little pencil-tip sized hole right in between the shoulder blades. I highly doubt that it came in that way since I'd only worn the suit once before. However it came in- whether it happened in their shop or not, they certainly didn't pay enough attention to notice it.
Either way, I'll make the effort to go a few miles down the road from now on.
