Daughter had appointment today at Henderson location at 1:30. SDMI called to ask if we could come in early so we arrived at 12:30 pm. We were soon in the back waiting room and could hear the MRI technician say that my daughter's referral was wrong. After additional waiting the receptionist came back and asked if we had the referral because the doctor sent over the wrong one. I tell her I have one at home and could get it and be back in 15 minutes.
I was back and in the main lobby by 1:23 pm. I hand over the referral as I read a text from my daughter. The MRI technician went into a cussing tirade about us. She cussed me for not having the referral and said my daughter she be a "f'n adult" and have her own paperwork. (My daughter is disabled with cognitive problems.). A guy who was in the waiting room heard the encounter and advised my daughter to speak with a manager.
No manager was on duty. The other tech reached mgr on phone and was told to tell me he'd "talk to Shay" on Monday?!?!?!? Talk to me now and fire Shay on Monday, would have been the appropriate response!!
Still waiting to hear from SDMI.......
