  • I bought a new 700c rear rim in early April, as 4 months of winter-type riding killed my previous one. As fate would have it, after rebuilding my bike's drivetrain myself, I couldn't get my "bullet-proof" Kevlar tires on this new rim, even with a tire iron. I had a major tire repair issue that I couldn't resolve on my own and Victor fixed it on the spot after 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening in early April, saving my early Sunday morning bike ride. That's why I updated my rating from 3 to 4. He saved me from the pure frustration of missing a ride due to mechanical issues.
